I started public activism seven years ago with a particular bible verse in mind:
Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you.” (Matthew 20:25-26a)
Despite bringing the Alberta Nationalist movement into the digital age, it took me time to realize that our civic focus remains obsessed with economics and raw political power—we still ignore Chrsitan public morality.
To be candid, that approach will ensure that, if Alberta achieves independence, it will simply replace an immoral federal government in Ottawa with an immoral state government in Edmonton—repeating the cycle of chaos.
Yet real freedom is designed only for moral people who live and breathe Christ as God.
